Vande Bharat Train: Rajasthan got its first Vande Bharat Express train, flagged off by PM Modi


Vande Bharat Train: Rajasthan is going to get its first Vande Bharat Express train today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate this train going from Ajmer to Delhi Cantt on Wednesday. PM Modi will flag off the virtual train from Delhi. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav along with other senior railway officials will travel from Jaipur in this train.

According to the information given by the Railways, the common people will be able to travel by Vande Bharat Express train from tomorrow i.e. Thursday, April 13. This train will run on all days except one day a week. This train will not operate every Wednesday. Train repair work will be done on this day.

In how many hours will it complete the journey?

Ajmer – Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Superfast Express will reach Ajmer to Delhi in five hours and Jaipur to Delhi in 4 hours. This train will leave Ajmer at 6.20 am and reach Delhi Cantt at 11.35 am. In between, there will be short halts at Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurugram. According to the information provided by the Railways, there will be a stoppage of five minutes in Jaipur and two minutes each in Alwar and Gurugram.

In return, this train will leave Delhi Cantt for Ajmer at 6.40 pm. This train will reach Ajmer at 11.55 pm via Gurugram, Alwar, and Jaipur. This train will reach Jaipur at 10.05 pm and after five minute’s halt will leave for Ajmer at 10.10 pm. The train will have a total of 16 coaches, including 12 AC Chaircars, two AC Executive Chaircars, and two Driving Cars.

The trial was completed in March

The trial run of the Vande Bharat Express train on the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt route was completed last month i.e. March. In the three-day trial, the train was run at a speed of 110 kilometers per hour.

Let us tell you that Vande Bharat Express is one of the ambitious projects of the Modi government. A target has been set to run it in every part of the country. At present, a total of 13 Vande Bharat trains are operating in the country. The first Vande Bharat train was operated from New Delhi to Varanasi in January 2019. This semi-high-speed train is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.
