General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the leader of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF), has agreed in principle to a ceasefire. The US evacuates 1000 of its citizens from Sudan
America has so far evacuated about 1000 of its citizens since the start of violence in Sudan. India shifts embassy from Khartoum to Port Sudan
At the same time, because of the current situation in Sudan, India has decided to temporarily shift its embassy from the violence-hit capital of Khartoum to Port Sudan. The Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that given the attacks on the city of Khartoum and the security situation in Sudan, it has been decided to temporarily transfer the embassy from Khartoum to Port Sudan.
