Kerala Blasters had to pay a penalty of Rs. 4 crores because they left the football field and gave up their Indian Super League playoff match against Bengaluru FC on March 3 at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, as decided by the Disciplinary Committee of the All India Football Federation.

The people in charge of making sure everyone plays fair in the game of football had a meeting. They talked to everyone involved and looked at their complaints and evidence. They told the Kerala Blasters team they had to say sorry in public for stopping the game in a bad way. If they didn’t say sorry, they would have to pay a lot of money.

Also, the people in charge said the Head Coach of the team couldn’t be in the team’s area during the next game. The Head Coach also had to say sorry in public for what he did. If he didn’t say sorry, he would have to pay even more money and couldn’t be in the team area for ten games, no matter which team he was coaching.
